About Rek People
The Rek are one of the largest sections of the Dinka, and in South Sudan the name carries weight well beyond ethnography. Their country is the western reach of the Dinka world: the flat clay plains of Warrap State around Gogrial, Tonj and Kuajok, running toward Wau. It is cattle country in the most literal sense. Families move their herds between permanent villages on slightly higher ground and the toic, the riverside grasslands of the Bahr el Ghazal basin that flood in the rains and turn green as the water pulls back. Young men spend the dry months in cattle camps, sleeping among the animals, and a man can still be known by the color pattern of his favorite ox, whose praises he sings in songs he makes up himself. Rek speech belongs to the southwestern cluster of Dinka dialects. It is close enough to the Malual and Abiem varieties to the north that the differences sound more like an accent than a barrier. Dinka is a Western Nilotic language and a near cousin of Nuer. Around Wau and Tonj the Rek live alongside the Luo-speaking Luwo, also called Jur, and Central Sudanic peoples such as the Bongo, and switching languages at the market is ordinary.
Most Rek today are Christian, largely Catholic, a legacy of missions that spread out from Wau in the twentieth century. The church did not erase the older religious world so much as settle on top of it. Nhialic, the old name for the high divinity, is also the word for God in Dinka prayer and scripture. Hereditary masters of the fishing spear, the bany bith, still hold ritual standing in many communities, where they lead sacrifices and settle feuds. Rek society is organized into named sections, among them Apuk, Aguok and Kuac around Gogrial and a cluster of sections around Tonj, each tied to its own territory and grazing rights. History has pressed hard on that structure. In the nineteenth century, slave and ivory traders working from fortified stations raided the region. During Sudan's second civil war, northern Rek areas suffered raids by mounted militias from the north, and then the 1998 Bahr el Ghazal famine. Independence in 2011 made Salva Kiir Mayardit, a Rek from Gogrial, the new country's first president. At home, though, boundary disputes and cattle raids between neighboring sections have gone on, now fought with rifles left over from the war.

Typical Rek Phenotypes

Rek Body & Anatomy Reference
Per-feature anatomical profile for AI nude generation: Cushitic / Nilo-Cushitic East African phenotype
Rek Boobs & Breasts
Rek boobs follow the Cushitic / Nilo-Cushitic East African profile: small-to-medium-cup, high-set, conical. Areolar diameter is usually 28-38mm, and the coloring is moderate-to-high areolar pigmentation against the brown-to-deep-brown skin tone. Breast shape tracks body composition (lean ectomorph-to-mesomorph, mean adult female BMI 19-22), so Rek breasts tend to be firmer and less projecting than the African-American or West African norm. Expect a forward-set shape, not the lateral spread of the West African phenotype.
Rek Ass & Hips
Rek ass and hip morphology presents as small-to-medium, high-set, rounded, distinctly different from the wide-set heavy-projection West African or African-American norm. The Rek pelvic profile shows narrow-to-medium iliac crests, longer torso-to-leg ratio, anchored in the Cushitic / Nilo-Cushitic East African skeletal pattern. Rek butt shots in adult AI imagery should render the small-to-medium, high-set, rounded silhouette with the overall build (lean ectomorph-to-mesomorph) and the fat distribution typical of the Cushitic / Nilo-Cushitic East African phenotype.
Rek Vagina & Pussy
Rek pussy anatomy typically shows brown-to-deep-brown labial pigmentation, narrow-to-medium labia minora projection. Pubic hair is usually tightly-coiled coarse texture, densely distributed. In AI-generated Rek nudes, labial color should blend into the brown to deep brown skin with a gradual transition, and the hair should keep its tightly-coiled coarse texture.
Rek Dicks & Penis
Penis reference for Rek men: regional mean ~13.5cm erect, moderate girth, ~12cm circumference. Coloring: deeper-pigmented than the West African norm. An accurate Rek cock in AI imagery matches the surrounding brown to deep brown skin rather than a generic porn default. Circumcision depends on religion and custom, not ancestry.
Rek Body, Curves & Build
The Rek figure is generally lean ectomorph-to-mesomorph, with mean adult female BMI 19-22, characteristic of Cushitic / Nilo-Cushitic East African ancestry. AI image tools tend to flatten regional body types into a few stock shapes; here the Rek build is kept as its own reference.
Rek Skin Tone & Hair Texture
Skin: brown to deep brown (Fitzpatrick V-VI). Hair: tight 4A-4C coil, often worn natural or in braided/twisted protective styles. Both are typical of Cushitic / Nilo-Cushitic East African ancestry. The most common mistake in AI nudes of Rek women is a body rendered lighter than the face.
