About Coree People

The Coree were a small Native people of the North Carolina coast. They lived around Core Sound and the mouth of the Neuse River until the early 1700s. War with English colonists broke them, and the survivors were folded into the Machapunga community at Lake Mattamuskeet. They left almost nothing of their language and no account of themselves in their own words, but their name stayed on the water. Core Sound and Core Banks carry it, and people along that shore still call themselves Core Sounders.

Their country was the low, wet edge of the continent: shallow sounds behind barrier islands, salt marsh, and pine and cypress ground rising behind it. Coastal peoples here planted maize and relied heavily on the water, building fish weirs, gathering oysters and clams, and hunting waterfowl. So little of Coree speech was written down that the language cannot be placed with confidence. Some scholars group the Coree with the Algonquian speakers who held the sounds to the north, and others with the Iroquoian Tuscarora inland. Their closest documented allies were the Neusiok, their neighbors along the Neuse.

English settlement reached them late. Planters moved south into the Pamlico and Neuse basins in the years around 1700, and when John Lawson described the region's Native nations in 1709, the Coree could field only a few dozen fighting men. The next year Swiss and German Palatine colonists founded New Bern where the Neuse and Trent rivers meet, on land Native people were still using. In September 1711 the Coree joined the southern Tuscarora, the Neusiok, the Pamlico, the Machapunga and others in coordinated raids along the Neuse, Trent and Pamlico rivers. The raids killed well over a hundred settlers and started the Tuscarora War.

The colony struck back with its own militia and with two expeditions from South Carolina, both made up largely of Native allies. The fall of the Tuscarora fort at Neoheroka in 1713 ended the main resistance, but the Coree and Machapunga kept fighting from the swamps and pocosins for two more years. A 1715 peace settled the survivors of both peoples on a reservation at Lake Mattamuskeet, in what is now Hyde County, and after that the Coree name fades from the record. Over the following decades the reservation was sold off in pieces, though families of Mattamuskeet descent stayed in the region. Today the Coree are remembered mostly through place names and through their part in the war that decided who would hold eastern North Carolina.

Typical Coree Phenotypes

Reference for AI generation — hair, eyes, skin, facial structure, build

No images of the Coree themselves survive. Nearby coastal Carolina Algonquian peoples, painted by John White in 1585, had brown skin and straight black hair. Men often shaved the sides of the head and left a crest along the top, and women wore tattooed designs. Everyday dress was a deerskin apron or skirt, with a skin mantle in cold weather, and ornaments of shell beads, freshwater pearls and copper.

Coree Body & Anatomy Reference

Per-feature anatomical profile for AI nude generation — Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype

Coree Boobs & Breasts

Coree tits and boobs run medium cup, moderate projection — the classic Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian bust profile. Coree nipples and areolas show medium-brown areolar pigmentation against the copper-to-medium-brown skin tone, with areolar diameter typically in the 30-44mm range and forward-set positioning rather than the the smaller East Asian bust. Coree breasts trend full and moderate projection, a function of the mesomorph, broader frame in northern Indigenous populations body habitus and the mean adult female BMI 25-28. For anatomically-accurate AI-generated Coree nudes the render preserves: medium cup, moderate projection shape, 30-44mm areolas with medium-brown pigmentation, and the torso proportions of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype.

Coree Ass & Hips

Coree ass and hip morphology presents as medium, moderate-to-full projection — distinctly different from the slim East Asian narrow-hip profile. The Coree pelvic profile shows medium iliac crests, anchored in the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian skeletal pattern. Coree butt shots in adult AI imagery should render the medium, moderate-to-full projection silhouette with the mesomorph, broader frame in northern Indigenous populations build and the gluteal-femoral fat distribution typical of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype rather than defaulting to a globally-averaged "ethnic" butt that generic AI generators produce. The hip-to-waist ratio characteristic of Coree women is one of the identifying features of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian regional phenotype.

Coree Vagina & Pussy

Coree pussy and vulvar anatomy presents medium-brown labial pigmentation — consistent with the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype's pigmentation pattern. Coree pubic hair is typically straight medium-coarse texture, distributed in the inverted-triangle pattern with regional-typical density. AI-generated Coree nude imagery should preserve the medium-brown labial pigmentation and the straight medium-coarse texture hair texture rather than defaulting to a Western-European pink-and-sparse template. For anatomically-accurate Coree pussy renders the labial pigmentation and coloration should match the surrounding copper to medium-brown skin tone of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype, with continuous gradient rather than an abrupt color transition.

Coree Dicks & Penis

Coree dick and penile anatomy in adult AI generation should anchor on the regional reference data: regional mean ~13cm erect, moderate girth, and medium-brown shaft pigmentation. The Coree cock profile reflects the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian ancestral population's anthropometric measurements rather than a globally-averaged Western-pornography default. For anatomically-accurate Coree nude male imagery the shaft pigmentation should track the surrounding copper to medium-brown skin tone, the glans-to-shaft pigmentation transition should be continuous, and the pubic hair pattern should match straight medium-coarse texture texture distributed in the typical inverted-V escutcheon. Circumcision status in Coree populations varies by religious-cultural tradition rather than ancestral phenotype.

Coree Body, Curves & Build

Coree body type and overall build presents as mesomorph, broader frame in northern Indigenous populations, with mean adult female BMI 25-28 — the characteristic Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian habitus. Coree curves and proportions in adult AI imagery should preserve the regional skeletal frame (height, shoulder-to-hip ratio, limb proportions) rather than scaling to a Western-European mesomorph default. The Coree nude female form, when rendered with anatomical fidelity, shows the height range, frame width, and adipose distribution pattern typical of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype. Generic AI image generators tend to collapse regional body types into a few default shapes; the EthnicErotic phenotype-anchored approach preserves the Coree build as its own reference category.

Coree Skin Tone & Hair Texture

Coree skin tone falls in the copper to medium-brown (Fitzpatrick III-V) band — the surface signal most often miscalibrated by generic AI nude generators trained on Western-photographic datasets. Coree hair texture is typically straight 1A, dark-brown to black, often thick and dense, characteristic of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype. For anatomically-accurate Coree nude renders the skin should hold the Fitzpatrick band consistently across body surface rather than showing the lighter-than-face body shading that AI generators default to. Coree hair pigmentation and texture on body, pubic, and head should match across the figure rather than mixing textures (a common AI artefact).
