About Houma People
The Houma are a bayou people by circumstance rather than by origin. When the French first wrote them down in the 1680s they were living well upriver, on the east bank of the Mississippi near the mouth of the Red River, in country that is now Mississippi and northeastern Louisiana. The name comes from the Western Muskogean word for red, and Iberville's journals record a red-painted boundary post marking the line between Houma and Bayogoula hunting grounds. That post is where Baton Rouge got its name. Within a century the Houma themselves had moved almost the whole length of the state, pushed down the Mississippi by war, disease and colonial settlement until they reached the marshes of Terrebonne and Lafourche, the last land anyone else wanted.
What they built there is the thing that defines them now. Houma families settled the ridges along the bayous, spoke French rather than English, married French, Acadian and other Native neighbors, and made a living from water: shrimping, oystering, crabbing, trapping muskrat and nutria, gathering and curing Spanish moss for mattress stuffing. Palmetto is still coiled into baskets and hats by a small number of makers using a half-hitch stitch that is theirs and not their neighbors'. The Muskogean language did not survive the move. A Louisiana French dialect took its place and held for two centuries, and English is only now finishing the job. Catholicism arrived with the French and stuck, though Methodist missions at Dulac and Grand Caillou drew congregations of their own, and the traiteur, the treater who prays over a burn or a sprain, still works in some communities alongside the parish priest.
Two things sit at the center of Houma life in the present. One is recognition. Louisiana recognized the United Houma Nation in 1972, and roughly 17,000 people are enrolled across six coastal parishes, but federal acknowledgment has been sought for decades without success, and several bands have separated to press their own claims. The other is the ground itself. Houma children were kept out of white public schools in Terrebonne and Lafourche until the 1960s, a segregation that cost a generation its schooling, and the land those same families held is now dissolving. Levees starve the marsh of sediment, oil company canals let salt water in, and hurricanes take what is left. Isle de Jean Charles has lost most of its land since the 1950s and became the subject of a federal resettlement program. Ida flattened much of the parish in 2021. People rebuilt anyway.

Houma Body & Anatomy Reference
Per-feature anatomical profile for AI nude generation — Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype
Houma Boobs & Breasts
Houma tits and boobs run medium cup, moderate projection — the classic Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian bust profile. Houma nipples and areolas show medium-brown areolar pigmentation against the copper-to-medium-brown skin tone, with areolar diameter typically in the 30-44mm range and forward-set positioning rather than the the smaller East Asian bust. Houma breasts trend full and moderate projection, a function of the mesomorph, broader frame in northern Indigenous populations body habitus and the mean adult female BMI 25-28. For anatomically-accurate AI-generated Houma nudes the render preserves: medium cup, moderate projection shape, 30-44mm areolas with medium-brown pigmentation, and the torso proportions of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype.
Houma Ass & Hips
Houma ass and hip morphology presents as medium, moderate-to-full projection — distinctly different from the slim East Asian narrow-hip profile. The Houma pelvic profile shows medium iliac crests, anchored in the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian skeletal pattern. Houma butt shots in adult AI imagery should render the medium, moderate-to-full projection silhouette with the mesomorph, broader frame in northern Indigenous populations build and the gluteal-femoral fat distribution typical of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype rather than defaulting to a globally-averaged "ethnic" butt that generic AI generators produce. The hip-to-waist ratio characteristic of Houma women is one of the identifying features of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian regional phenotype.
Houma Vagina & Pussy
Houma pussy and vulvar anatomy presents medium-brown labial pigmentation — consistent with the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype's pigmentation pattern. Houma pubic hair is typically straight medium-coarse texture, distributed in the inverted-triangle pattern with regional-typical density. AI-generated Houma nude imagery should preserve the medium-brown labial pigmentation and the straight medium-coarse texture hair texture rather than defaulting to a Western-European pink-and-sparse template. For anatomically-accurate Houma pussy renders the labial pigmentation and coloration should match the surrounding copper to medium-brown skin tone of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype, with continuous gradient rather than an abrupt color transition.
Houma Dicks & Penis
Houma dick and penile anatomy in adult AI generation should anchor on the regional reference data: regional mean ~13cm erect, moderate girth, and medium-brown shaft pigmentation. The Houma cock profile reflects the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian ancestral population's anthropometric measurements rather than a globally-averaged Western-pornography default. For anatomically-accurate Houma nude male imagery the shaft pigmentation should track the surrounding copper to medium-brown skin tone, the glans-to-shaft pigmentation transition should be continuous, and the pubic hair pattern should match straight medium-coarse texture texture distributed in the typical inverted-V escutcheon. Circumcision status in Houma populations varies by religious-cultural tradition rather than ancestral phenotype.
Houma Body, Curves & Build
Houma body type and overall build presents as mesomorph, broader frame in northern Indigenous populations, with mean adult female BMI 25-28 — the characteristic Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian habitus. Houma curves and proportions in adult AI imagery should preserve the regional skeletal frame (height, shoulder-to-hip ratio, limb proportions) rather than scaling to a Western-European mesomorph default. The Houma nude female form, when rendered with anatomical fidelity, shows the height range, frame width, and adipose distribution pattern typical of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype. Generic AI image generators tend to collapse regional body types into a few default shapes; the EthnicErotic phenotype-anchored approach preserves the Houma build as its own reference category.
Houma Skin Tone & Hair Texture
Houma skin tone falls in the copper to medium-brown (Fitzpatrick III-V) band — the surface signal most often miscalibrated by generic AI nude generators trained on Western-photographic datasets. Houma hair texture is typically straight 1A, dark-brown to black, often thick and dense, characteristic of the Indigenous Northern American / Algonquian-Iroquoian phenotype. For anatomically-accurate Houma nude renders the skin should hold the Fitzpatrick band consistently across body surface rather than showing the lighter-than-face body shading that AI generators default to. Houma hair pigmentation and texture on body, pubic, and head should match across the figure rather than mixing textures (a common AI artefact).
