About Bharatha People
The Bharatha are one of the smallest peoples Sri Lanka counts on its own, and one of the easiest to mislabel. They speak Tamil, most are Roman Catholic, and their families came from the south Indian coast. Even so, they are not Sri Lankan Tamils of the north and east, and they are not the Indian Tamils brought over to work the tea estates. They trace their roots to the Paravar, the seafaring and pearl-diving caste of the Pearl Fishery Coast around Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu. Their name echoes Bharathakula, a lineage name Paravars have long used for themselves. Today the Sri Lankan census lists the Bharatha as a separate group, which finally separates them from categories they never fit.
The turning point in their history came in the 1530s. Muslim traders were pushing the Paravar out of the pearl banks of the Gulf of Mannar, so Paravar leaders asked the Portuguese for protection. The price was baptism, and whole villages were baptized at once. A few years later Francis Xavier arrived to teach among them, and from then on being Catholic and being Paravar were close to the same thing. That faith came with them across the sea. Parish life, feast days, church weddings and processions for the saints still set the rhythm of the year, and the old Paravar devotion to Our Lady of Snows at Thoothukudi is part of what they inherited.
The move to Sri Lanka happened slowly during the colonial era, as families followed trade to the island's ports. The community settled mainly in Colombo and along the western coast and turned away from the sea toward commerce, shopkeeping and later the professions. Tamil, a Dravidian language, is still spoken at home. In a city where they are outnumbered on every side, Sinhala and English are part of daily working life.
What holds the Bharatha together now is less a shared trade than shared memory: family ties that still reach back to the Tamil Nadu coast, pride in their lineage, and a Catholic identity they hold openly. Their story is one of two crossings, into a new faith in the sixteenth century and over the narrow sea to Sri Lanka later on, and of their insistence on choosing their own name.

Bharatha Body & Anatomy Reference
Anatomy by feature, Indo-Aryan / Dravidian South Asian phenotype
Bharatha Boobs & Breasts
The typical Bharatha bust is medium-to-large cup, moderate-to-full projection, in line with the wider Indo-Aryan / Dravidian South Asian pattern. Areolas usually fall in the 32-46mm range, with medium-brown to dark-brown areolar pigmentation against the wheatish-to-brown skin tone. Compared with the smaller East Asian bust profile, Bharatha breasts sit forward and are generally full and soft, generally fuller than the East Asian norm. A faithful AI render of Bharatha tits keeps that shape and areola size.
Bharatha Ass & Hips
Butt shape among Bharatha women: medium-to-full, moderate-to-high projection, classic curvy hip profile, over medium-to-wide iliac crests, full gluteal-femoral fat distribution. This follows Indo-Aryan / Dravidian South Asian ancestry and looks quite unlike the slim hip profile of East Asian women. An accurate Bharatha ass in adult AI imagery keeps both the silhouette and the overall build (endomorph-to-mesomorph with fuller hip deposition) instead of a generic average.
Bharatha Vagina & Pussy
Vulvar anatomy among Bharatha women: medium-brown to dark-brown labial pigmentation, fuller labia minora projection. Pubic hair tends to be straight-to-wavy coarse texture, dense distribution, in the usual inverted-triangle pattern. Both follow Indo-Aryan / Dravidian South Asian pigmentation, which is why Bharatha pussy renders should not fall back on a pale, sparse Western template.
Bharatha Dicks & Penis
The Bharatha cock profile, from Indo-Aryan / Dravidian South Asian anthropometric data: regional mean ~13cm erect; moderate girth; medium-brown shaft pigmentation. Pubic hair has a straight-to-wavy coarse texture and forms the usual inverted-V pattern. Whether Bharatha men are circumcised follows religious and cultural practice rather than phenotype.
Bharatha Body, Curves & Build
Build and curves among Bharatha women follow the Indo-Aryan / Dravidian South Asian pattern: endomorph-to-mesomorph with fuller hip deposition, mean adult female BMI 22-25. Proportions matter as much as skin tone, so Bharatha figures should keep their regional height and limb ratios.
Bharatha Skin Tone & Hair Texture
The Bharatha skin range is wheatish to brown (Fitzpatrick III-V), and hair tends to be straight-to-wavy 1A-2B, dense, dark-brown to black. That combination marks the Indo-Aryan / Dravidian South Asian phenotype, and skin tone is the trait AI generators most often get wrong for Bharatha women.
