About Chenoua People
The Chenoua take their name from a mountain. Mount Chenoua rises almost straight out of the Mediterranean just west of Tipaza, some 70 kilometers from Algiers. The villages on its slopes, and in the hills that run west toward Cherchell, hold one of the smallest surviving pockets of Berber speech on the Algerian coast. No single custom sets the Chenoua apart as much as plain persistence does. They are an Amazigh community that has kept its own language close to the capital, while the towns and plains around them speak Arabic.
That language, called Chenoui or Tachenwit, belongs to the Zenati branch of Berber. It is related to Kabyle, which is spoken farther east, but its closer relatives are the scattered Zenati varieties of western and central Algeria. The French linguist Émile Laoust described it in a 1912 study that compared it with the speech of the neighboring Beni Menacer and Beni Salah. Most speakers today also speak Algerian Arabic, and Tachenwit has lost ground, especially in the towns. In 2016 Algeria's constitution made Tamazight an official language, which gave Berber speech formal standing. Still, whether a variety this small survives gets decided at home, by the language parents use with their children.
The Chenoua are Sunni Muslims of the Maliki school, like most Algerians, and religion sets the ordinary calendar: Friday prayer, the Ramadan fast and the two Eids. As in much of rural northern Algeria, respect for local saints and their shrines has long existed alongside mosque practice. Village life has traditionally rested on small hillside farms. In summer, the beaches below the mountain fill with visitors from Algiers.
History is never far off here. Cherchell was once Iol Caesarea, the capital of the Mauretanian king Juba II, and the Roman ruins of Tipasa, now a UNESCO World Heritage site, lie just east of the mountain. In 1871 the Beni Menacer rose against French rule in the hills west of Cherchell, and the colonial army put the revolt down. In the late 1970s the novelist and filmmaker Assia Djebar, who was born in Cherchell, came back to the region to make La Nouba des femmes du Mont Chenoua. The film is built around local women remembering the war of independence, and it shows that the mountain's story is part of modern Algeria's history, not a side note to it.

Chenoua Body & Anatomy Reference
Berber / Mediterranean-Saharan phenotype: anatomy reference for AI nude generation
Chenoua Boobs & Breasts
Bust reference for Chenoua women: medium-to-large cup, full, moderate projection, which is typical of Berber / Mediterranean-Saharan ancestry. Areolas measure about 30-44mm across, with medium-brown to dark-brown pigmentation. Body type (mesomorph with fuller hip-and-bust deposition) shapes the bust as well, so Chenoua tits are usually fuller and softer than the Cushitic East African norm. In AI imagery, keep the forward-set shape rather than drifting toward the smaller East Asian bust profile.
Chenoua Ass & Hips
The Chenoua ass is typically medium-to-full, moderate projection, broader hip profile, which sets it apart from the slim narrow-hip Cushitic East African profile. Underneath, the pelvis shows medium-to-wide iliac crests, fuller gluteal-femoral fat distribution, part of the Berber / Mediterranean-Saharan skeletal pattern. For Chenoua butt pics and AI renders, match that silhouette and the overall build (mesomorph with fuller hip-and-bust deposition).
Chenoua Vagina & Pussy
Chenoua pussy and vulvar anatomy presents medium-brown to dark-brown labial pigmentation, fuller labia minora, consistent with the Berber / Mediterranean-Saharan phenotype's pigmentation pattern. Chenoua pubic hair is typically wavy-to-coiled medium-coarse texture, dense distribution, in the inverted-triangle pattern. For anatomically accurate Chenoua pussy renders the labial coloration should match the surrounding olive to medium-brown skin tone with a continuous gradient, and the hair should keep its wavy-to-coiled medium-coarse texture.
Chenoua Dicks & Penis
Chenoua dicks follow the Berber / Mediterranean-Saharan reference data: regional mean ~13-14cm erect; moderate girth; medium-brown shaft pigmentation. Shaft color should track the olive to medium-brown skin tone with a smooth change toward the glans, and Chenoua pubic hair keeps its wavy-to-coiled medium-coarse texture.
Chenoua Body, Curves & Build
Chenoua body type and overall build presents as mesomorph with fuller hip-and-bust deposition, with mean adult female BMI 24-28: the characteristic Berber / Mediterranean-Saharan habitus. Chenoua curves and proportions should keep the regional skeletal frame (height, shoulder-to-hip ratio, limb proportions) rather than a generic mesomorph default.
Chenoua Skin Tone & Hair Texture
Chenoua skin sits in the olive to medium-brown (Fitzpatrick III-V) band. Hair is typically wavy-to-curly 2B-3C, often dark-brown to black, in keeping with the Berber / Mediterranean-Saharan phenotype. In nude renders the skin should stay one even tone from face to body, and body, pubic and head hair should match.
