About Gie Trieng People
Gie Trieng is partly a name made by the state. When Vietnam drew up its official list of 54 ethnic groups, it put several neighboring highland peoples under one heading: the Gie (Jeh), the Trieng (Tariang), the Ve and the Bnoong.
