Somewhere in that sequence the Krobyzoi stopped being a name worth writing down. What remains of them is a few lines in Herodotus and Strabo, plus an open question for historians and archaeologists studying the Thracian hillforts and burials inland from the Bulgarian and Romanian Black Sea coast.
