Common camera framing
Description: The receiving partner bends forward onto a flight of steps, hands two or three risers up, while the penetrating partner stands on a lower step. The staircase does the work a height difference otherwise would, which is the only reason the position exists as a named thing.
Variations: How far up the hands are placed sets the angle of the back; the standing partner can move a step up or down mid-scene to change depth.
On camera: The diagonal of the staircase gives the frame a line that a flat set cannot, and it is shot in profile almost without exception.
AI design considerations: A hinged-forward figure with hands on an ascending surface and the partner behind on a lower plane. Without the stepped geometry it is an ordinary standing bend.
