The Erotic Pose Catalog grew from 104 to 219 named positions, and the new pages were published on September 6. Eighty-five are standalone positions drawn from renderings of the Kama Sutra and the Ananga Ranga, the Perfumed Garden, the Nine Ways and the catalog of modern adult production. Each carries the full 21-field schema, a four-part written description and a composed skeleton for every participant.
Thirty are group arrangements, including four- and five-person scenes and three composition codes that had no page before: MMM, FFF and MFM. Their figures are composed the same way a couple's are: one skeleton per participant, each placed into a shared scene.
The diagram on each page is drawn from those skeletons, so the picture and the data are the same object. Group scenes are now as structured as couples: every arrangement is a set of roles with coordinates, not a caption.
Under the hood
- Each participant starts from one of 17 canonical base skeletons (supine, prone, kneeling, all fours, astride, inverted and more) and is placed into the scene by a transform: translate, scale, rotate and mirror. Per-pose joint overrides bend knees and ankles where a position needs it.
- The output is COCO-17: 17 joints, each an x, y and visibility value, 51 numbers per participant, normalized to the unit square. The 219 positions compose 493 participant keypoint sets.
- Every new figure is checked against a coordinate envelope measured from the existing catalog, so no limb leaves the frame. Wide four- and five-person arrangements are scaled about their center by a measured factor, or mirrored to the other side at full scale.
- An integrity pass checks all 219 positions for collisions on slug, name, alias, name against an existing alias, and displayed title. Every attribute value in the new records comes from the published controlled vocabularies, and the renderer assigns skeleton colors by role, with a fallback that carries the palette to five figures.
- The expansion is additive: the 104 existing records are byte-identical to their earlier form, and the 115 new positions were written beside them.
