Face down, hips up (solo)

Description: The model settles chest and cheek to the surface while the hips lift high and the knees tuck beneath them, producing the deep lumbar curve that gives the pose its identity. Known in shorthand as face down ass up, it is the classic rear-presentation display and among the most common solo staging poses.

Variations: Arms stretched forward past the head or folded beneath the chest; knees held together or eased apart to alter the rear silhouette.

On camera: Rear and side framing dominate; in profile the exaggerated spinal curve is the signature line the shot is built to read.

AI design considerations: Shoulders low, hips high, knees folded under: the height difference between the two ends of the body is the pose. Keep the cheek in contact with the surface and avoid straightening the spine into a plain kneel.
