Common camera framing
Description: The receiving partner lies on the back with the legs raised, and the penetrating partner lies on one side at a right angle across them, so the two bodies meet at the hips in a cross. Neither partner supports any of the other's weight, which is what makes it holdable for a long stretch.
Variations: The receiving partner's legs over the partner's hips or resting on the partner's shoulder, and the crossing angle opened toward parallel to change the depth.
On camera: Legible from overhead and, unusually for a crossed position, also readable in profile because the raised legs mark the junction.
AI design considerations: Two figures whose long axes meet at roughly ninety degrees at the pelvis, one supine and one on its side. The right angle is the identifying feature and is what separates it from the criss-cross, where both partners lie back.
