Tutsi populations comprise approximately 15% of the Rwanda population — Bantu / Kinyarwanda-language ethnic group. The 1994 Rwandan genocide of Tutsi (and moderate Hutu) by Hutu Power forces resulted in approximately 800,000-1M+ Tutsi and moderate Hutu deaths in approximately 100 days — one of the documented genocides of the 20th c. Cross-border with Burundian, DRC, and Ugandan Tutsi populations.
